II.

Neighborliness

Seasonal gatherings, a members' directory, and a board that answers when rung — the small courtesies of a close-knit street.

III.

Heritage

Careful keepers of the neighborhood's history, from Cumberland Valley farmland to Harry Smith's distinctive brick façades.

A Note to Neighbors
Nearly four decades on, The Highlands remains what it was intended to be — a quiet, brick-and-sidewalk neighborhood of neighbors. The Association exists to preserve that character with a gentle hand, and to keep the small traditions that make a place feel like home.
